Windsor Wedding, Toronto Wedding photographer
Even though I’m a Toronto wedding photographer, I travel all over for photos and this wedding is a great example about why I love it. Jessica + Dominic had a truly elegant wedding in Windsor, and it was totally worth travelling for. I had no idea that the Canadian Club Brand Centre was so stunning, a historical building right on the edge of the Detroit river, and it was the perfect backdrop for their portraits. I hadn’t been to this building before, but it’s pretty incredible and very opulent. The best part about it is the staircase at the back, but the inside is really lovely as well, lots of beautiful wood and windows.
Jessica got ready at Caesar’s in Windsor – the suites were nice, I love the photo of Jessica and her mum when she sees her for the first time. Thankfully the suite was big, because you need a lot of space for 12 bridesmaids!
Jessica wore a two piece Enzoani gown and she was such an elegant bride. We stopped along the Detroit River to take some portraits after the ceremony because Jessica grew up in Detroit and it still means a lot to her. The ceremony and portraits were all at the Canadian Club Brand Centre and the reception was at the classic Ciociaro Club. Their decor was pretty magnificent, the flowers and the linens, definitely a great way to start my 2016 wedding season. This whole wedding was really glam and it was featured over on Junebug weddings.
Even though it was freezing, Jessica & Dominic were total champs and we were able to take their portraits very quickly and endure the cold. This may have been the absolute largest bridal party I have ever worked with, and it was a lot to handle. When I got married I picked on MOH and that’s it. Super simple!
